Spent 25 years as pastry chef/chocolatier/sugar artist. Always enjoyed working in miniatures and actually made dolls entirely out of sugar (gumpaste and pastillage). Now, semi retired, I am transitioning into these adorable non-edible dolls. Attached is a photo of a piece which won a Gold medal in NYC, NY a few years ago of doll couple, flower cart and flowers..all out of sugar.
