Dana’s professional journey began in 1989, when she was first published in Nutshell News in the feature “Miniaturists Under 30.” That publication marked the professional debut of what would become 37 years of teaching, creating, and sharing the art of miniature dollmaking.
With retirement just three years away, Dana is opening the studio treasure chest and sharing her secrets, hints, techniques, and how-to lessons at a tremendous pace. Every tutorial, video, and lesson is part of a heartfelt mission: to pass this knowledge on, so the magic of miniature dollmaking continues with the next generation.
Dana you are an extraordinary, talented,and generous lady. You are extremely happy to share your skills with people who are enthusing to make miniature dols, I for one being one of these people. I first met you at CMW in England many years ago and that was the first doll I ever made, with more to add. I personally thank you for all your help and advice. Hugs and love. XX🥰
