Did you know you can change the color of your bird feathers (add a bit of luminescence by adding Pearl Ex? (google for source).
Here I wanted a peacock color in her hair (oldie but goodie tip) ... so I took a damp Q-tip and stroked it into the Pearl EX then on feather.
